find it. And, like any great relationship, it just gets better
and better as the years roll on. So keep looking until you
find it. Don't settle."

Monday, March 19, 2012

अजीब खेल है ये मोहब्बत का;

मेरी झोली में कुछ अलफ़ाज़ अपनी दुआओ के डाल देना, ऐ दोस्त;

तकदीर के लिखे पे, कभी शिकवा न किया कर;

दूर ही सही मगर तुझसे प्यार तो है;
अगर आसान होता भूलना, तो भूल जाते;

तेरे इन्तजार में हुई सुबह से शाम;
तेरी चाहत में हुआ ये दिल बे-लगाम;
तुझे पाने की आरजू मेरी जल्द हो पूरी;

एक मुस्कान तू मुझे एक बार दे दे;
बस एक बार कर ले तू आने का वादा;

मेरी नज़रों में जो खुमार है उसका ही है;
मेरे तस्सवुर में जो हिसार है उसका ही है;
वो मेरे पास आये, साथ चले रहे न रहे;

मिट्टी मेरी कब्र से चुरा के जा रहा है कोई;
मर कर भी बहुत याद आ रहा है कोई;
ए खुदा एक पल की ज़िन्दगी और दे दे मुझे;

तड़प के देखो किसी की चाहत में;
तो पता चले कि इंतज़ार क्या होता है;
यूँ ही मिल जाये अगर कोई बिना तड़पे;

फासले मिटा कर आपस में प्यार रखना;
दोस्ती का ये रिश्ता हमेशा बरकरार रखना;
बिछड़ जाए कभी आपसे हम;

शायद कोई तराश कर, किस्मत संवार दे;

'Been a tough phase for me' - Tendulkar(16-03-2012)

Friday, March 16, 2012

Sachin Tendulkar has admitted that he went through a "tough phase" to reach the milestone of a hundred international centuries. At the same time, Tendulkar, who last made an international hundred in the 2011 World Cup, said he had not been weighed down by his pursuit of the record, blaming the media for all the hype around it.

"It's been a tough phase for me," Tendulkar told television commentator Ramiz Raja during the mid-innings break in Mirpur, after helping India post 289 against Bangladesh in the Asia Cup. "I started off the season batting reasonably well. I was luckless. I am not playing only for my hundredth hundred. It doesn't matter how many 100s you score, you still put your head down, grind it out and do the job for the team.

"I was not thinking about the milestone, the media started all this, wherever I went, the restaurant, room service, everyone was talking about the 100th hundred. Nobody talked about my 99 hundreds. It became mentally tough for me because nobody talked about my 99 hundreds."

Tendulkar said that his sole aim has always been to excel for his country, even during the lean phase over the past year. Despite the struggle to get to his 100th hundred and the pressure that that had built up around it, Tendulkar was able to joke about having finally achieved it, saying he had shed "50 kilos" with the 114 he made today.

When Ramiz asked Tendulkar what message he wanted to send to a youngster who witnessed him make history, Tendulkar said it was important to never give up on chasing your dreams. "Enjoy the game and chase your dreams," he said. "Dreams do come true. I had to wait for 22 years for India to win the World Cup."

Foods that help sleep better

Source:-The Times of India(16/03/2012)

The meal you choose tonight could mean the difference between counting sheep and getting some serious shut-eye. So order the salmon.

There are certain nutrients in salmon, as well as in beans, yogurt, and spinach that help you sleep better.

Salmon
The healthy fats in this fish (namely docosahexaenoic acid, or DHA for short) may boost levels of the sleep-regulating hormone melatonin.

Beans
Beans and other legumes provide a nice sampling of B vitamins, including B6, B12, and folic acid, all of which help the body regulate sleep cycles and produce relaxing serotonin. In fact, studies have shown that boosting B vitamins may help people with insomnia.

Low-fat yogurt
Yogurt is a good source of calcium and magnesium - two important sleep-supporting minerals that together help you fall asleep faster and ratchet up your deep-sleep time. And skimping on both may lead to muscle cramps, higher stress levels, and worse sleep.

Spinach
Dark leafy greens are a great source of iron - a nutrient that may help protect against the sleep robber known as restless legs syndrome.
