तकदीरें बदल जाती है, जब ज़िन्दगी का कोई मकसद हो;

पास आपके दुनिया का हर सितारा हो;
दूर आपसे गम का हर किनारा हो;
जब भी आपकी पलकें खुलें;

कुछ अमल भी ज़रूरी है, इबादत के लिए;

मुलाकातें रह जाती है सुहानी यादें बनकर;
बातें रह जाती है कहानी बनकर;
पर प्यार तो हमेशा दिल के करीब रहता है;

खफा न होना हमसे, अगर तेरा नाम जुबां पर आ जाये;
इंकार हुआ तो सह लेंगे और अगर दुनिया हंसी, तो कह देंगे;
कि मोहब्बत कोई चीज़ नहीं, जो खैरात में मिल जाये;
चमचमाता कोई जुगनू नहीं, जो हर रात में मिल जाये;

ज़िदगी जाने कितने मोड़ लेती है, हर मोड़ पर नए सवाल देती है;
तलाशते रहते हैं हम जवाब ज़िन्दगी भर;

जाने उस शक्स को कैसा ये हुनर आता है;
रात होती है तो आँख में उतर आता है;
मैं उसके ख्याल से निकलूं तो कहाँ जाऊं;

प्यार आ जाता है, आँखों में रोने से पहले;
हर ख्वाब टूट जाता है, सोने से पहले;
इश्क है गुनाह, यह तो समझ गए हम;

हमने तेरे बाद न रखी किसी से मोहब्बत की आस;

तकदीरें बदल जाती है, जब ज़िन्दगी का कोई मकसद हो;

तेरी बेवफाई ने मेरा ये हाल कर दिया है;

तो बिना झिझक कह देना जो कुछ खोया वो मेरी नादानी है;

तकदीर बनाने वाले, तूने भी हद कर दी;
तकदीर में किसी और का नाम लिखा था;

Law of Expectations

Tuesday, April 3, 2012

Simply stated, the Law of Expectations tells us that whatever one expects, with confidence, becomes a self-fulfilling prophecy. When one expects with confidence that good things will happen, they usually will. If, on the other hand, one expects a negative outcome to a situation, then the outcome will usually be negative.

Our expectations play a key role in our own outcomes and they also have a remarkable effect on the people around us. What we expect from those around us determines our attitude toward them more than any other factor. In turn, the people around us tend to reflect our attitudes right back at us - whether the expectations and attitudes are positive or negative, good or bad.

Dr. Robert Rosenthal of the University of California – Riverside, has spent more than 40 years studying the idea that one’s expectations for the behaviour of another, can become a self-fulfilling prophecy. His years of experimentation show this to be true. In his landmark book, “Pygmalion in the Classroom”, Rosenthal tells of case after case where teachers were told that a student, or sometimes a whole class, was extremely bright and was predicted to make a quantum leap in academic performance in the coming year. Even though the students were randomly chosen from the school population at large, provided the teacher believed that the student or students were exceptional and expected them to excel, the students performed at much higher levels than other students in the same or similar classes, and vastly better than could have been predicted by previous grades or behaviour.

The Arbinger Institute (http://www.arbinger.com) has published a terrific book called “Leadership and Self Deception – Getting out of the Box”. While the book focuses on developing superior leadership skills through being true to one’s self, they talk a lot about the way we view others and the way we expect others to act – based on our own internal prejudices. They refer to this as “being inside the box in how we view others.” It is not until we choose to view others as they really are (i.e. human beings with valuable experiences, viewpoints and inputs) that we will be able to connect at a deeper level and achieve higher degrees of understanding and communication. In other words, it is not until our expectations of others change that we can change our own experiences with them.

The obvious stands here before us – judgment. This is the downfall of many of us, when we stand in judgment of another we must be very sure that we ourselves are absolutely clean and that we are not projecting something on to the other. We need to be absolutely and brutally honest with oneself here. A wonderful clue is to monitor what is going on on the inside. If there is even the slightest hint of a reaction to a person – then there is something that you are projecting onto that person. Know then that you are placing an expectation on that person – and it will be reflected back to you. That is the law of expectations.

Take a moment to think about your own expectations – of yourself and those around you. Your expectations exert a powerful influence on people and events, for good or for bad, so be extremely careful!

What You Can Do

There are a few things that you can start doing immediately that will help you to harness the awesome power of the Law of Expectations:

1.Always expect the best! Assume the very best of intentions on the part of those around you. There is no better place to start than home. Tell your spouse and children on a regular basis that you believe in them, that you think they are wonderful, that you love them and that you are proud of them. Expecting food !!!

2.Practice these same behaviours with your staff and co-workers. The very best managers, entrepreneurs, and salespeople are "high expectations" people. Tells its own story does it not !!

3.Expect the best of yourself. Focus on your unlimited potential and imagine that you can accomplish anything that you put your mind to. Imagine that your greatest moments lie ahead and that everything that has happened to you up to now has merely been a preparation for the great things that are yet to come.

There is no mystery to achieving success - it is available to all of us. One need only be aware of, understand and live in accordance with Universal Law!

Law of Decision

The law of decision states that the ability to set the correct course of action and stick to it at all costs will determine the extent of your success and manifestation. Below you will find some key basics regarding the law of decision:

1. Decision means choosing a course of action and sticking to it.

This means that every other possibility apart from that one course of action has to be eliminated completely. If you do not do this, you were not making a decision in the first place. To stick to the decision completely requires a fundamental change in the state of your consciousness.

2. Refining and being careful of your habits is crucial for correct decisions.

Habits are the systems of mind and body which you have in place, and which bound your life. Your power lies in being able to only modify your habits, one step at a time. Therefore, to correctly form decisions and stick to them will require you to modify your habits sufficiently, so that sticking to your decision becomes easy. In any other case, it will become difficult.

3. Decision and the refining of habits to create it rests on single minded focus.

When you have singleness of purpose and can move in a hell-bent nature directly towards your goals, you are in the perfect mental situation to create rapid changes in consciousness. The state of consciousness will determine your state of mind and body, and changing this state through singleness to the goal gives you the necessary foundation by which you can progress to make changes from.

4. Decision is easier to perform when in the right environment.

If you have the wrong type of people around you, you are bound to procrastinate, be mentally slow, and develop a tendency towards inefficiency. However, the true nature to create manifestation must be one of getting into the right environment. So even though existence may be mental in nature, we must acknowledge that we have a physical presence in a physical environment, and use this basis to modify our lives, by getting into the right environment.

5. Making correct decisions lies on clarity of mind.

This goes without saying, but you would be surprised by how many people do not understand this. Clarity of mind means becoming emotionless, free of judgements and free of all thoughts. This is important because when we have any kind of thought in our mind, it acts as a filter to make you focus on specific types of actions and decisions. When your mind is clear, you are allowing the unconscious to creep up into your awareness without you knowing, to give the right type of thoughts to you.

What To Expect/Conclusion

When you learn to refine your habits correctly, you have a foundation which will allow you to set your decisions in the correct way. When you do this, you can commit to a course of action and reap the benefits that come with it. However, decision on its own will not lead to successful manifestation, and so you must commit to learning the whole manifestation system if you are to succeed.

Law of Belief

The law of belief states that whatever you believe, you will see. Below you will find some basic understandings of how to apply this law, and how it relates to manifestation:

1. You must defend your beliefs actively.

That is, you cannot expect the beliefs you have to remain, unless you actively defend them against other erroneous or conflicting beliefs. The best way to do this is to expand your beliefs by making others believe the way you do. This allows you to create a coherent reality where everyone around you backs up the way you think, and makes your belief and frame stronger.

2. The strength of your frame will determine the success of your beliefs.

That is, the coherence of your beliefs to project a single model and version of reality and how well you stick to them will determine the success of your beliefs. You cannot afford to have conflicting beliefs as this will weaken your frame and make it susceptible to other foreign influences.

3. Coherent beliefs create clarity of mind for manifestation.

That is, when there are no conflicting messages within your mind, and everything sets a coherent model of reality, your mind becomes clear and can correctly access its deeper mental resources. Clarity and singleness of mind acts as a mind-digging device, in which the depth and connection into deeper levels of consciousness increases, as the coherent, singleness and clarity increases.

4. You must fully understand why you believe the things you believe.

From understanding, comes evolution of consciousness and manifestation. This is because as your consciousness changes for the better, so does the manifestations which you can bring up. Understanding will bring strong mental manifestations in all areas relating to the belief. It also allows your habits to evolve and change much quicker.

5. Beliefs must not be tampered with.

That is, do not change what works. If the belief which you have is working towards your manifestations, then don't change it. This is regardless of whether you think the belief is good or not. What works must be kept. However, beliefs which are clearly poor (e.g. negative beliefs) must be eliminated at all cost.

What To Expect/Conclusion

Maintaining a strong hold of your beliefs, and being careful what kind of beliefs you listen or pay attention to, will determine your success in setting a coherent mindset of reality, and the subsequent manifestation which results. Beliefs are extremely subtle, so it is easy for the wrong beliefs to creep into our mind without us realising. It is therefore necessary to understand how and what causes these beliefs to creep in, and what we can do to stop it, to therefore ensure we can keep our manifestations going at top-speed.
