A Wish

My heart beats for loneliness
to partake the pleasures of nature's bliss
to fly with birds
float with clouds
ride the rainbow
to shred the earthly bonds
to be friends with the butterfly
sing with the cuckoo's cry
to be the feather of a peacock's joy
but surrounded with ruckus high
the soul writhes in pain
for the pleasures of lone
inside and outside pollution
can't bargain with modernization
lone survivors on a shipwreck
on the vast plane of sea I break
the ghost of a gory massacre
like a mouse squeaking for grain and shelter
still I long for lone why I can't ascertain
who will listen to my groan
I exchanged peace for material gain
caught in the web of fanatics and religion.
