Learnings from the movie "3 Idiots"

A few days back I saw the movie "3 Idiots",and found that something special is there in this movie,which attracts people,not just for watching the movie but to understand and realize seriously why this movie is made.

Ofcourse every movie is made for entertaining and business purpose but only a few movies gives special messages to the audience/viewers."3 Idiots" is one such classic movie which not only entertain us but also give us some message or learnings that can be fruitful for us in our life as we proceed.

Some of the learnings which I could figure out from the movie based on my understandings are as follows:-

1.Don't run after success/money,try to gain excellence,success will come running after you,Success is the by-product. Excellence always creates success. So, never run after the success, let it happen automatically in the life.

2.Don't be a part of rat-race always

3.Do that work only where your heart and soul is there fully,only there can you excel and flourish more favorable results.

4.Whenever you find any problem in life,put ur hand on ur heart and say "all izz well",it will not solve the problem,but the heart will be diverted from the issue and feel relaxed and we will get time to think about a solution for the same.

5.Don’t die before actual death. Live every moment to the fullest as you are going to die today night. Life is gifted to humankind to live, live & live in happiness.

6.When your hobby becomes your profession and passion becomes your profession. You will be able to lead up to excellence in the life. Satisfaction, pleasure, joy and love will be the outcome of following passion. Following your passion for years, you will surely become something one day.

7.Teachers do fail. Learners never fail. Learning is never complicated or difficult.
Learning is always possible whatever rule you apply.

8.Current education system is developing pressures on student's head. University intelligence is useful and making some impact in the life but it cannot be at the cost of the life.

9. Life Is Emotion Management Not Intelligence Optimization. Memory and regular study have definite value and it always helps you in leading a life. You are able to survive even if you can make some mark in the path of the life. With artificial intelligence, you can survive and win but you cannot prove yourself genius. Therefore, in this process genius dies in you.Never let the genius inside us die in this rat-race.Otherwise it will be difficult for us to prove our own identity.

10. Necessity Is The Mother Of Invention.Necessity creates pressure and forces you to invent something or to make it happen or to use your potentiality. Aamir Khan(Phunsukh Waangdu/Ranchhod Das Syamaldas Chanchad) in this film, 3 Idiots, is able to prove in the film by using vaccum pump at the last moment for child delivery.

11. Simplicity is Life.Desires have no ends. Simplicity is way of life and Indian culture highly stresses on "Simple Living and High Thinking", and this is the way of life:- ‘Legs down to earth and eyes looking beyond the sky’.

12. Movie focuses on the Industrial Leadership in present scenario.Dean of the institute(Veenu Sahastrabuddhi played by Boman Irani) in 3 idiots is showing very typical leadership. He has his own principles, values and ideology, and he leads the whole institute accordingly. This is an example of current institutional leadership. In the present scenario, most of the institutes are fixed in a block or Squarish thinking.

13. Importance Of even One Word is having a great value in Communication.If communication dies, everything dies. Each word has impact and value in communication. One word if used wrongly or emphasized wrongly or paused at a wrong place in communication what effect it creates and how is it affected is demonstrated very well in this movie.(Remember the Speech given by Chatur Ramalingam on Teacher's Day)

14. Mediocrity Is Penalized always. Middle class family or average talent or average institute is going to suffer and has to pay maximum price in the life if they do not upgrade their living standards. To be born poor or as an average person is not a crime but to die as an average person with middle class talent is miserable and if you are unable to optimize your potentiality and die with unused potentiality then that is your shameful truth. One should not die as a mediocre. He/she has to bring out genius inside him/her and has to use his/her potentiality to the optimum level.

नन्ही किरण

आज आपसे सिर्फ मैं अपनी बात नहीं करना चाहता,पर साथ ही साथ एक छोटी सी बच्ची,जिसका नाम किरण है,उसकी वो बातें भी आपसे share करना चाहता हूँ,जो की उसने मुझसे और शायद आप में से भी किसी से की होगी,पर हो सकता है की किसी ने उसकी बातों को,तवज्जोह नहीं दी हो,ऐसी बातें जो सब जानते हैं,पर फिर भी हम एक बार फिर से सुनेंगे "किरण" के दृष्टिकोण से।

किरण एक मासूम से प्यारी सी बच्ची है,जिसका एक भरा पूरा परिवार है,माता-पिता है,दादा-दादी हैं,और एक बादइ बहिन भी है। किरण इनके पास होने के अनुभव से ही चहक उठती है,और इनसे बातें करने,इन्हें जानने को छट पटाती है,पर वो ऐसा कर पाती इस से पहले ही माँ के गर्भ में उसकी जान ले ली गयी.कन्या-भ्रूण हत्या की एक और शिकार बनी-नन्ही किरण।

यह कहानी सिर्फ किरण की ही नहीं,बल्कि उसके जैसी न जाने कितनी मासूम बच्चियों की होगी,जिनके जीवन में रोशनी होने से पहले ही अँधेरा छा जाता है। और इस अँधेरे के ज़िम्मेदार सिर्फ और सिर्फ हम लोग ही हैं-पढ़े लिखे मगर गँवारों और जाहिलों की सोच रखने वाले।

यूँ तो ६० साल हो गए हैं आज़ादी मिले मगर आज भी हमारी सोच में ६०% तक का भी इजाफा नहीं हुआ है। आज भी कई घरों में बेटियाँ बोझ समझी जाती है। या तो उन्हें जन्म लेने से पहले ही मार दिया जाता है,या फिर पैदा होने के बाद वोह बेचारी ज़िन्दगी भर अपने मूल हकों के लिए लडती रहती है। और ऐसा सिर्फ गाँव या छोटे कस्बों में नहीं अपितु कई महानगरों में भी होता है।

हम एक पल भी नहीं लगते यह सोचने में की जिस नन्ही सी जान को हम कष्ट दे रहे हैं,वोह हमारा ही अंश है,इश्वर का अनमोल तोहफा है हमारे लिए जिसकी हम एकतरफ तो तौहीन करते हैं और दूसरी तरफ धार्मिक होने का नाटक भी नहीं छोड़ते और उसी नारी को मंदिर में बैठा , उसी को पूजते भी हैं। मगर शायद यह भूल जाते हैं की इतना जघन्य अपराध करने वालों की फ़रियाद तो इश्वर भी खारिज कर देता है।

ऐसे मामलों में माँ-बाप के अलावा वो डॉक्टर भी दोषी होते हैं,जो प्रसव-पूर्व बच्चे का लिंग पता करवाने में उनकी मदद करते हैं। चाहे कानून कितने भी सख्त क्यूँ ना बना लिए जाएँ पर यह भी सच है की उन्हें तोड़ने वाले हर जगह मिल ही जाते हैं। यह वो लोग हैं जिन्हें इश्वर का खौफ ही नहीं रोक पाया,तो कानून (जो मानव द्वारा निर्मित है) वोह भला कैसे और आखिर कब तक रोक पायेगा?

ज़रा सोचिये की अगर धरती से लडकियां ही ख़त्म हो गयी तो हमारा वंश आगे कैसे बढेगा,प्रजनन प्रक्रिया रुक जायेगी और हमारे लड़कों के लिए बहुएं ढूँढने पर भी नहीं मिलेंगी। क्या ऐसी भयानक वास्तविकता का सामना कोई करना चाहेगा? शायद कोई भी नहीं। तो फिर हम ऐसी स्तिथियाँ उत्पन्न ही क्यूँ करना चाहते हैं जो विकराल रूप लेकर हमें ही खा जाएँ।

कितना आसान होता है किसी अजन्मे बच्चे की जान लेना,पर अगर कभी हमारे साथ ऐसा हुआ होता,तो हमें उस दर्द का एहसास होता,अगर हमारे घरवालों ने भी हमें गर्भ में ही मरवा दिया होता,तो हमें उस तकलीफ का एहसास होता जो माँ और बच्चे दोनों को झेलना पढ़ती है,जिसमें एक माँ बेचारी तो औसतन हमेशा ही सामाजिक और पारिवारिक दबाव के चलते ही इतनी घिनौनी साज़िश का हिस्सा बन जाती है।

ऊपर लिखी एक भी बात नयी या अनजानी नहीं है। कई लोग,कई समाजसेवी संगठन ऐसी बातें रोजाना कहते हैं मगर जब तक हम मन से इन बातों को सोच-समझ कर अपनी मानसिकता नहीं बदलेंगे तब तक ऐसी बातें लगातार होती रहेंगी और हम इनसे छुटकारा नहीं पा सकेंगे। अगर ऐसी नश्तर सी चुभती हकीकत का सामना नहीं करना है तो मत पैदा होने से रोकिये अपने आस-पास स्थित किसी भी जगह पर, किसी भी "किरण" को और इस मुहीम को एक जन-आन्दोलन का रूप दीजिये क्यूंकि ऐसी ही कोई "किरण" कल की "किरण बेदी" बनकर ना केवल अपने परिवार,अपने कुल का बलिक पूरे देश का नाम रोशन कर सकती है।

वाकई में "बेटियों का जवाब नहीं।"

मौत!
एक हकीकत,एक फ़साना,या एक अर्धसत्य!
नहीं!!एक संपूर्ण सत्य,

मगर मौत तो आती है,

अपरिवर्तित,अनश्वर, हृदयहीन, वो हर पल चौकस रहती है,

तो हजारों आँखों को रुला जाती है,
और शायद कभी खुद भी ग़मगीन हो जाती है॥

परन्तु फिर भी निरंतर,निर्विकार, से बढती जाती है,
आती है,हमें किसी अँधेरे कमरे में बंद कर,दरवाज़ा लगा,

उस पहली ही मुलाकात ने जाने कैसा असर कर दिया था,
की मुझे तुमसे प्यार हो गया था और,
दिल में तुम्हे पाने की हसरत मैंने बसा ली थी,
दिन गुज़रते गए,रातें कटती रहीं,
और मैं तुम्हे दिन-रात सोचता रहा,
मैं मांगता रहा हूँ खुदा से ये ही दुआ,
की तुम खुश रहो,तुम आबाद रहो,
चाहे ज़िन्दगी में कहीं भी रहो,
या फिर मेरे ही साथ रहो,

पर उसे देखकर लगता है की सितारे तो हैं,
ठीक वैसे ही मैं भी यहाँ पर तन्हा हूँ कितना,
पर मुझे देखकर लगता है की नज़ारे तो हैं,
आ जाओ फिर से तुम बन के मेरी ज़िन्दगी में बहार,
और बी हर दो हर लम्हे में बस प्यार ही प्यार।

यह रास्ते ज़िन्दगी के,
जो फासले बन गए थे,
तुम्हारे आने के बाद,जैसे मंजिलों से मिल रहे थे,
वो रुखी-सूखी सी,बेरंग जो ज़िन्दगी थी,
तुम्हारे आने के बाद,जैसे फूल उस में भी खिल गए थे,
पतझड़ के मौसम में,तुम सावन बन गए थे,
ज़िन्दगी की कहानी की तुम कविता बन गए थे,
मेरे दिल की बगिया में कली बन के खिल गए थे,
मेरे जिस्म की साँसों में खुशबू बन के बिखर गए थे,
वो नज़रें तुम्हारी,जैसे गहराई हो किसी झील की,
वो बातें तुम्हारी जैसे डली हो मिश्री की,
तुम्हारे गेसुओं की वो घनी छाँव जैसे,
आसमाँ में बादलों के समूह उमड़ गए थे,
मेरी कविताओं की प्रेरणा बन गयी हो तुम,
भावनाएं मेरी,मगर शब्द बन गयी हो तुम,
पहले तो नहीं,मगर अब दोस्त मेरे भी,
मुझसे कहने लगे थे,
की तुम्हारी मोहब्बत में शायद,दीवाने हम हो गए थे,

आलम कुछ ऐसा हो गया है ज़िन्दगी का जैसे,

तुमसे मिलने से पहले....

तुमसे मिलने से पहले,
जीवन में कोई रंग न था,
मन में कोई उमंग न थी,
और आँखों में कोई सपना न था,

पर तुमसे मिलने का बाद,
जीवन सतरंगी हो गया,
मन में उमंगो की लहर मचल उठी,
और आँखों को सपने हकीकत बनते नज़र आने लगे,

तुमसे मिलने से पहले,
जीवन में कोई दोस्त न था,
कहने को कोई अपना न था,
और आँखों में कोई सपना न था,

पर तुमसे मिलने के बाद,
दोस्ती की नयी इबारत लिखी गयी,
अपनेपन की नयी शुरुआत हुई,
और आँखों को सपने हकीकत बनते नज़र आने लगे,

आज जब तुम मिल गयी हो,
तो सोचता हूँ की न जाने कैसा जादू,
कैसी कशिश है तुम्हारे अन्दर,
की तुमसे मिलते ही,सारे मायने ही बदल गए,
यह खुदा की कैसी कुदरत है?

पर शायद ऐसा भी लगता है,
की वो बीते पल एक छोटी सी,
पगडंडी थे,जो ले जाते थे ख़्वाबों की उस राह पर,
जिसके अंत में "मंजिल" थी मेरी,
और जिसपर चलने के लिए साथ था तुम्हारा।

2+2=5

People may laugh when someone says that 2+2=5.They will surely say that either this person has a weak mathematics or he has lost his mental balance. But have you ever thought that it might be possible that this stupid expression i.e. 2+2=5 may teach us some great lesson also.

Let us explore a new dimension of the world of this expression i.e.2+2=5. 2+2=5 says that one more than the regular value, or it ignites a new flame in our heart to achieve more than what is expected or what actually may happen. may it be business, or studies, or sports or social welfare any field if we achieve more than expected than it is always fruitful(sometimes it may not be fruitful also) and becomes a source of inspiration for ourselves as well as others also. I would share one brilliant example of fruitfulness of achieving more than expected with all. Some years back Australian Cricket Team made a tour to India. They played test series with our country and one test match was organized in Kolkata(Eden Garden).in that match Australia was in commanding position in the starting days forcing Indian Cricket Team to play follow-on. Everyone just expected that our team should somehow save the innings defeat. but then what happened is known to everyone, two players namely Rahul Dravid and VVS Laxman played one of the most unforgettable innings of there entire career and because of those two innings only the team i.e. India that was on the verge of loosing the match, dramatically won that match. This is what 2+2==5 means that is more than expected is fruitful (but not always).

But, one should not forget that 2+2=5 also says that always more than expected is not fruitful, it may sound annoying and also prove annoying more many others also. One should take an example from climatic behavior in this scenario.Good rainfall is always expected and is fruitful for all, for farmers, for humans, for animals and birds and for earth also, but because of this need of good rainfall and the prays that we do in front of god for good rainfall every year sometimes a situation occurs when god is more happy with us then expected resulting in so good rainfall that flood occurs causing destruction. It is not God's fault; it is actually our fault because in order to achieve new heights in technology we have disturbed the ecological balance, which causes natural calamities also. In this scenario isn't 2+2=5 is destructing? The answer is there in our mind but we are not ready to accept it. Isn’t it? Yes, it is the case. But for how long should we remain quiet? Isn’t it our duty to take care of our mother earth because she has also taken care of us since centuries? So human-species, please awake from sleep, and work for your upliftment without hurting the nature, and take the person seriously who says in front of you next time that 2+2=5.

Friends and Friendship

“A friend in need is a friend indeed.” This is most probably the most efficient and simple definition that separates a true friend from a mean friend since centuries. But nowadays the meaning of friendship has completely changed for most of the people. For most of the people friendship is just a mean to use someone to satisfy us when we are in need and forget that person when he/she is in utter need of us. Most of the people just know how to use a friend for their work but have started forgetting what to do for a friend when he/she needs us desperately.Ah!!It’s so painful. The feeling which has been an example in front of us since centuries telling us the importance of serving someone has totally changed its meaning for majority of people in this modern world.

Since past times only friendship has been described as one of the best relationship made by human on this earth. All other relationships were earned by default but friendship has the connection with heart. Many true friends have been the role models since past only like Lord Rama-Sugreev, Lord Krishna-Sudama, Jai-Veeru (“SHOLAY” Movie fame), Kishan-Bishan (“YARANA” Movie fame) etc.People from early days till now have taken examples from these pairs of friends and many more that how much devotion a true friendship can have. But nowadays some people think all these examples as bookish. For them a friend is a person only to e categorized as “Use and Throw” type of thing. Shame on those people who are polluting the true flavor of friendship.

Almost all of us might have faced some of those people at some moment in life and we can’t escape from them without getting affected. Even I also felt the pain in the heart because of those kinds of people in my college life. The main characteristics of such people is that initially they present themselves in front of you as one of your true and best friend and when you are in need then they are the first one to attack with a knife of unfaithfulness on your back.

But despite of getting severely wounded by the wounds given by them I stood up again because of the support of some real friends in my life who were like precious gems for me in my life (school and college).It is not so that I have always been hurted by the ill behavior of friends but I have got some too good friends also in my life, the friendship with some of them whom has been more than 21 years old and is becoming more precious as time is passing no matter how far we are physically situated but our hearts are still united.

I should suggest all ill-minded people that instead of cheating your good friends by giving them a friendship filled with bad feelings for them internally you should work hard to improve true relationships with your true friend because these true friends are like such precious pearls which when lost then only we realize their importance.

If somebody doesn’t know the importance of a true friend then loose one good friend in life(after making a good friend),you will automatically feel the pain in your heart .But the people who never realize their importance in lifetime suffer in bad days of life and even God punishes them in His court for such a heart-breaking act.

Never Underestimate Yourself

"Butterflies don't know, in what color their wings are, but human eyes know how beautiful that is. Likewise u don't know how sweet u are, but others know it."

Isn't it a sweet but great line.Yes, it is. So what is the reason that despite of the presence of such great thoughts around us many of us underestimates themselves and quit in life? This is not a champion's attitude. So what is a champion's attitude towards hazardous situations of life? It is always positive and realistic attitude. I don't think that there is something un-achievable around us (practically there are some, like myself stop writing. Ha Ha Ha...).If we make efforts than god also supports us and we can also emerge with flying colors in our life. But what I found that many people are having the attitude so poor that they even don't believe in themselves may be because of some mental illness or something else may be the reason. This is absolutely wrong attitude towards life.

Do u know the story of the little girl - the 20th of 22 children, was born prematurely and her survival was doubtful. When she was 4 years old, she contracted double pneumonia and scarlet fever, which left her with a paralyzed left leg. At age 9, she removed the metal leg brace she had been dependent on and began to walk without it.

By 13 she had developed a rhythmic walk, which doctors said was a miracle. That same year she decided to become a runner. She entered a race and came in last.

For the next few years every race she entered, she came in last. Everyone told her to quit, but she kept on running. One day she actually won a race. And then another. From then on she won every race she entered.

Eventually this little girl - Wilma Rudolph, went on to win three Olympic gold medals.

If she had quitted in life because of her inferiority complex than the history must have been re-written. Inferiority complex should be considered as one of the dreadful disease human society is facing because it is this inferiority complex that prevents us from achieving new and different heights. Why don't we realize that if some one says that we r useless than it is her/his views about us. We may prove lucky for others. So taking into consideration the views of a single person or community, we should not quit but make ourselves so strong that the person who hurt our feelings should realize how wrong he/she was in doing so. God has not created any one without any reason. We all are his sons and daughters and he love all equally but takes exam of some people also, but do u know the person who successfully clears his exam are the most close to god because they are special not because they are odd.

So make a pledge to yourself to not underestimate yourself as well as others and make this world a happy place to live in.

Some Experiences about LIFE....

Hello everybody. Here I would like to share some experiences about life that I have discovered till now.

1. Give people more than they expect and do it cheerfully.
2. Marry a man/woman you love to talk to. As you get older, their conversational skills will be as important as any other.
3. Don’t believe all you hear, spend all you have or sleep all you want.
4. When you say, "I love you", mean it.
5. When you say, "I'm sorry", look the person in the eye.
6. Be engaged at least six months before you get married.
7. Believe in love at first sight.
8. Never laugh at anyone's dreams. People who don't have dreams don't have much.
9. Love deeply and passionately. You might get hurt but it's the only way to live life completely.
10. In disagreements, fight fairly. Please No name calling.
11. Don’t judge people by their relatives.
12. Talk slowly but think quickly.
13. When someone asks you a question you don't want to answer, smile and ask, "Why do you want to know?"
14. Remember that great love and great achievements involve great risk.
15. Say "bless you" when you hear someone sneeze.
16. When you lose, don't lose the lesson.
17. Remember the three R's: Respect for self; Respect for others; Responsibility for all your actions.
18. Don’t let a little dispute injure a great friendship.
19. When you realize you've made a mistake, take immediate steps to correct it.
20. Smile when picking up the phone. The caller will hear it in your voice.
21. Spend some time alone.
22. People are middle-class because of their mindset.
23. Life is a matter of choices.
24. Don't work for money,let money work for you.
25. Writing ideas,dreams,pictures makes a lot meaning in life.Try it,it definitely works.

Some New kind of "Viruses"

The following is the list of some new viruses going round in India.

Better beware of them.

P.V. Narasimha Rao Virus:
First of all, this virus reduces the CPU speed to 66Hz. Before executing any instruction, it deliberates over it a number of times and finally does nothing.

V.P. Singh Virus:
This virus reserves a quota for each instruction, and executes them only according to the quota. Needless to say, the least used instructions have a higher quota than the more used instructions. This virus is also known as Social Justice Virus.

Sukh Ram Virus:
This virus first swallows 10% of the bits in each instruction and then executes them.

Maneka Gandhi Virus:
This is a green virus. It executes only those programs that were written by vegetarians or animals.

L.K. Advani Virus:
This virus pops up every now and then, and the only way you can continue working is by typing “Jai Shri Ram” 108 times.

K.P.S. Gill Virus:
Only ladies need to worry about this virus. Every now and then the users get a whack, you know where.

Phoolan Devi Virus:
This virus hijacks all high priority processes and generates page faults for them. At times, this virus may also celebrate the CPU’s birthday.

Deve Gowda Virus:
The main characteristic of this virus is that it tries to schedule all the processes at the same time. This virus services the entire request for resources, and allocates them irrespective of whether they are available or not.

Jayalalitha Virus:
This actually is a family of viruses. Each member of this virus family grab as much of hard disk space as possible, while the main virus is totally unaware of it. When everything stops working, this virus blames the user for the whole chaos.

I.K.Gujral Virus:
Before executing any instruction, this virus calls try to get the approval of 18 other viruses and most of the time, one of the viruses blocks the instruction. So Gujral virus most of the time does not execute anything. While it is not doing anything, as it is always, this virus connects to the Internet and keeps sending data to all major/minor countries in the World except India w/o receiving the replies.

Veerappan Virus:
This virus plays hide and seek. It captures some resources and releases them after sometime. It sometimes seems to be eradicated but suddenly reappears.

Laloo Yadav Virus:
A dangerous virus, gulps all the resources as well as it corrupts the data. If you try to use scanner, during hibernation, it will rename its signature with another deadly virus of the same family. This virus takes help from other viruses to avoid scanning.

Mulayam Virus:
Whatever way, it will try to grab resources of the system; its only task is to abort BJP processes. This virus hangs the system by sending conflicting signals to different hardware units.

Sonia Gandhi Virus:
Once a part of most deadly virus family of the world. No scanner can detect now, how much damage it can cause to the system, but people use Bofors scanner for temporary protection.

Kashi-Maya Virus:
It's also called the Dalit virus, it destabilizes the co-ordination amongst different resources, it controls & steps the low priority resources from functioning. Lots of scanners are available now to kill it. Other viruses are thriving by splitting this virus.

Greg Chappell Virus:
It is also called as the Foreign Virus. It tries to establish its monopoly over the entire system by demoralizing the keyboard named as players by hitting any key any time and showing the message that “It is an experiment.”

Amar Singh Virus:
It is a deadly virus of the category “Chamcha Virus “.It always resides on either the Mulayam Singh boot sector or the Amitabh Bachchan boot sector of the hard disk.

Cricket World Cup Virus:
It activates once in four years and eats the emotions of the country-men and ends up with lots and lots of crying and dull faces and again activates after four years with full energy.

As I Mature....

What I have learned as I mature...

I've learned that you cannot make someone love you. All you can do is stalk them and hope they panic and give in.
I've learned that no matter how much I care, some people are just assholes.
I've learned that it takes years to build up trust, and it only takes suspicion, not proof, to destroy it.
I've learned that you can get by on charm for about fifteen minutes. After that, you'd better have a big weenie or huge boobs.
I've learned that you shouldn't compare yourself to others - they are more screwed up than you think.
I've learned that you can keep puking long after you think you're finished.
I've learned that we are responsible for what we do, unless we are celebrities.
I've learned that regardless of how hot and steamy a relationship is at first, the passion fades, and there had better be a lot of money to take its place.
I've learned that the people you care most about in life are taken from you too soon and all the less important ones just never go away.

Friendship

Sometimes we convince ourselves that life will be better after we get married, have a baby, then another. Then we are frustrated that the kids aren't old enough and we'll be more content when they are. After that, we're frustrated that we have teenagers to deal with. We will certainly be happy when they are out of that stage. We tell ourselves that our life will be complete when our spouse gets his or her act together, when we get a nicer car, when we are able to go on a nice vacation or when we retire. The truth is there's no better time to be happy than right now. If not now, when? Your life will always be filled with challenges.

It's best to admit this to yourself and decide to be happy anyway. Happiness is the way. So, treasure every moment that you have and treasure it more because you shared it with someone special, special enough to spend your time with ... and remember that time waits for no one.

यूँ तो ज़माने हो गए तुमसे पहली मुलाकात किये,
पर आज भी लगता है की उस पल के बाद,
न तो कभी कोई पल बीता,और न ही वो रात गुजरी॥
तुझसे इज़हार-ए-मोहब्बत मैं कर भी नहीं सकता,
तेरे रुसवा होने का डर है,
तुझे मैं भूल भी नहीं सकता,
मेरे फना होने का डर है,
अब तू ही कुछ इलाज बता इस बीमार-ए-इश्क का,
तेरी आँखों की हया,
तेरी साँसों की खुशबू,
तेरी पायल की छन-छन,
तेरे घुंघरू की खन-खन,
जिसके लिए ऐसे हैं,
जैसे हर बार उसके ऊपर से एक क़यामत गुजरी॥

बीते पल जब याद आये,
बस तुम ही मुझे याद आये,
यूँ तो बसे हैं यादों में कई लोग,
पर सबसे पहले,बस तुम ही याद आये,
वो शाम का समय,और साथ तुम्हारा,
वो कहना मेरा कुछ,और वो मुस्कुराना तुम्हारा,
बीते पल जब याद आये,
बस तुम ही मुझे याद आये,
वो मेरा तुम्हे देखकर कोई शायरी कहना,
और तुम्हारी नज़रों का झुक जाना,
वो मेरा तुम्हारी तुम्हारी तारीफ़ करना,
और तुम्हारा पलट कर शरमा जाना,
बीता पल जब याद आये,
बस तुम ही मुझे याद आये,
वो मिलना हमारा और इत्तेफाक से पहचान होना,
वो मुझसे बात किये बिना,तुम्हारा परेशान होना,
बीते पल जब याद आये,
बस तुम ही मुझे याद आये,
वो तुम्हे छोड़ कर जाने से पहले,
आखिरी बार तुमसे मेरा मिलना,
और तुम्हारा मेरे सीने से लिपट कर रोना,
हर वो बीता पल,जो गुज़ारा है मैंने कभी साथ तुम्हारे,
जब भी मुझे वो पल याद आये,
बस तुम ही मुझे याद आये,
सिर्फ तुम ही मुझे याद आये॥

प्रेयसी

क्या लिखूं,क्या न लिखूं,
कलम हाथ में है पर शब्द नहीं है,
तुमसे मिलकर कुछ यूँ लगा,
मानो जीवन में अब कोई दर्द नहीं है,
तुम ही प्रियतमा,तुम ही सखी बनकर,
तुम ही मेरी कविताओं के शब्द बनकर,
कुछ यूँ घुल गयी हो मेरे जीवन में,
की अब बस मिठास ही मिठास है,कोई कडवापन नहीं,
दिल की आरज़ू,दिल की हसरत बनकर,
और मेरे जीवन की प्रेरणा बनकर,
तुम ही हो दिल की बगिया का वो फूल,
जिसके बिना मेरे दिल का चमन नहीं है,
जिसके बिना मेरा जीवन संपूर्ण नहीं है॥

उदासी

सुहानी शाम का ये मंज़र उदास लगता है,
की तुम्हारे बिना ये शहर उदास लगता है,
जबसे जुदा हुए हो तुम मुझसे ए हमसफ़र,
मुझे साँसों का यह सफ़र उदास लगता है,
तुम थे तो रौनकें भी थी और बहारें भी,
तुम्हारे बाद तो अपना घर भी उदास लगता है,
यह कैसा वक़्त आया है ज़िन्दगी में हमारी,
की अपनी ही दुआओं का असर भी उदास लगता है,
मंजिल कैसे मिलेगी बगैर हमसफ़र के मुझे,
रास्ते गुम हैं और हर पल उदास लगता है,
अजीब वीरानी छाई है तेरे बाद नगर पर,
की फूल तो फूल,यहाँ तो पत्थर भी उदास लगता है।

आज की भारतीय नारी

सूरत भी है,खुबसूरत भी है,
और हर दिल की वो ज़रूरत भी है,
वो शरमाती भी है और घबराती भी है,
और दिल में जज़बातों को छुपाती भी है,
कभी धूप है,कभी छाँव है,
कभी आग है,कभी पानी है,
कभी दोस्त है,कभी बहन है,
या कभी धड़कते दिल की कहानी है,
जिस रिश्ते को भी निभाये,उसे निभाये पूरे मन से,
जीती है वो दूसरों के लिए,पर खुद की एक ज़िंदगानी भी है,
जिस मन को छू ले वो, उस मन को वो पावन कर दे,
ऐसी है वो आज की भारतीय नारी,
जो हर घर की शोभा,और हर घर की 'रानी' भी है।

कोई बात बने

मेरे गम में मुस्कुराओ तो कोई बात बने,
इसी तरह मेरा साथ निभाओ तो कोई बात बने,
दुनिया दुश्मन है प्यार की,तोहमतें लगाएगी,
ज़माने की नज़र से नज़र मिलाओ तो कोई बात बने,
प्यार आसान है पर रस्म-ए-वफ़ा निभाना मुश्किल,
कदम हौसलों से उठाओ तो कोई बात बने,
प्यार के नाम पर यारों,कर दें जान फ़िदा दोनों,
मिटकर भी वफायें निभाओ तो कोई बात बने,
वक़्त अपना भी आएगा ए हमसफ़र मेरे,
सब्र से कुछ सदमे उठाओ तो कोई बात बने॥

कौन?

यह कौन ज़िन्दगी में उदासियाँ रख गया,
मेरे आँगन में,यादों की तितलियाँ रख गया,
आया था कुछ दिनों के लिए ,गया है सदा के लिए,
क्यूँ मेरी हयात में तनहइयां रख गया,
तिनका-तिनका चुनकर बनाया था आशियाँ,
उसी शाख पर वो ज़ालिम बिजलियाँ रख गया,
आता है याद बहुत हमें,रोते हैं अक्सर,
क्यूँ दिल में वो उम्मीदों की बस्तियां रख गया।

तुम साथ चलो

ज़िन्दगी धूप का है सफ़र,तुम साथ चलो,
न हो सकेगी अकेले गुज़र,तुम साथ चलो,
ज़माना जीने न देगा,करेगा रुसवा हमें,
बनकर मेरे हसीं रहबर तुम साथ चलो,
राह-ए-उल्फत में वफ़ा की सौगात लिए हाथों में,
ए मेरे प्यारे हमसफ़र तुम साथ चलो,
मेरी धडकनों में रहो,बसे रहो साँसों में मेरी,
चलो की दूर कहीं दूर,बहुत दूर कहीं,
हो न दुश्मनों को खबर,तुम साथ चलो,
आशियाना अपना बसायेंगे प्यार के चमन में कहीं,
खुशबुओं से तर है राह गुज़र,तुम साथ चलो।

बेटियाँ

ओस की बूंदों सी होती हैं बेटियाँ,
स्पर्श करो तो रोती हैं बेटियाँ,
रोशन करेगा बेटा तो एक ही कुल को,
दो कुलों की लाज को रखती हैं बेटियाँ,
माँ का तो पता नहीं,पर बाप की जान होती हैं बेटियाँ,
हीरा अगर है बेटा,तो सच्चा मोती हैं बेटियाँ,
कांटो की राह पर यह खुद ही चलती रहेंगी,
औरों के लिए पर फूल हैं बेटियाँ...

तुम ही मेरी सब कुछ बनो...

मैं हूँ नदी,तुम तट बनो,
मैं हूँ डोर तुम पतंग बनो,
मैं हूँ तिनका तुम नीड़ बनो,
मैं बेरंग तुम रंग बनो,
तुम बिन मैं कुछ भी नहीं,
तुम ही मेरी सब कुछ बनो।

तुम.....

तुम मिले तो खिले गुलाब खिज़ाओं में,
माँगा था तुम्हे हमने दिन रात अपनी दुआओं में,
चाहत है तुम्हारी,करते हैं तुम्हारी पूजा,
मूरत बनके बसे हो तुम मेरी सूनी निगाहों में,
रहता है हर दम दिल को ख्याल तुम्हारा,
खुशबू से बसे हो तुम साँसों कि फिजाओं में,
लबों पर नाम तुम्हारा,धडकनों को आरज़ू तुम्हारी,
तेरी महक ही रची-बसी है अब इन शोख हवाओं में.....

मेरे बारे में कुछ बातें....

जीवन रुपी इस यात्रा में अपनी लेखनी द्वारा रचित कुछ अंशों में आप सभी को सहभागी बना कर, मैं अपने विचारों को आप सभी के समक्ष प्रस्तुत करने के लिए इस ब्लॉग और उन सभी लोगों का शुक्रिया अदा करना चाहता हूँ जिन्होंने समय समय पर मेरे लेखन की सराहना कर मुझे आगे लिखने के लिए प्रेरित किया।
