Learnings from the movie "3 Idiots"

A few days back I saw the movie "3 Idiots",and found that something special is there in this movie,which attracts people,not just for watching the movie but to understand and realize seriously why this movie is made.

Ofcourse every movie is made for entertaining and business purpose but only a few movies gives special messages to the audience/viewers."3 Idiots" is one such classic movie which not only entertain us but also give us some message or learnings that can be fruitful for us in our life as we proceed.

Some of the learnings which I could figure out from the movie based on my understandings are as follows:-

1.Don't run after success/money,try to gain excellence,success will come running after you,Success is the by-product. Excellence always creates success. So, never run after the success, let it happen automatically in the life.

2.Don't be a part of rat-race always

3.Do that work only where your heart and soul is there fully,only there can you excel and flourish more favorable results.

4.Whenever you find any problem in life,put ur hand on ur heart and say "all izz well",it will not solve the problem,but the heart will be diverted from the issue and feel relaxed and we will get time to think about a solution for the same.

5.Don’t die before actual death. Live every moment to the fullest as you are going to die today night. Life is gifted to humankind to live, live & live in happiness.

6.When your hobby becomes your profession and passion becomes your profession. You will be able to lead up to excellence in the life. Satisfaction, pleasure, joy and love will be the outcome of following passion. Following your passion for years, you will surely become something one day.

7.Teachers do fail. Learners never fail. Learning is never complicated or difficult.
Learning is always possible whatever rule you apply.

8.Current education system is developing pressures on student's head. University intelligence is useful and making some impact in the life but it cannot be at the cost of the life.

9. Life Is Emotion Management Not Intelligence Optimization. Memory and regular study have definite value and it always helps you in leading a life. You are able to survive even if you can make some mark in the path of the life. With artificial intelligence, you can survive and win but you cannot prove yourself genius. Therefore, in this process genius dies in you.Never let the genius inside us die in this rat-race.Otherwise it will be difficult for us to prove our own identity.

10. Necessity Is The Mother Of Invention.Necessity creates pressure and forces you to invent something or to make it happen or to use your potentiality. Aamir Khan(Phunsukh Waangdu/Ranchhod Das Syamaldas Chanchad) in this film, 3 Idiots, is able to prove in the film by using vaccum pump at the last moment for child delivery.

11. Simplicity is Life.Desires have no ends. Simplicity is way of life and Indian culture highly stresses on "Simple Living and High Thinking", and this is the way of life:- ‘Legs down to earth and eyes looking beyond the sky’.

12. Movie focuses on the Industrial Leadership in present scenario.Dean of the institute(Veenu Sahastrabuddhi played by Boman Irani) in 3 idiots is showing very typical leadership. He has his own principles, values and ideology, and he leads the whole institute accordingly. This is an example of current institutional leadership. In the present scenario, most of the institutes are fixed in a block or Squarish thinking.

13. Importance Of even One Word is having a great value in Communication.If communication dies, everything dies. Each word has impact and value in communication. One word if used wrongly or emphasized wrongly or paused at a wrong place in communication what effect it creates and how is it affected is demonstrated very well in this movie.(Remember the Speech given by Chatur Ramalingam on Teacher's Day)

14. Mediocrity Is Penalized always. Middle class family or average talent or average institute is going to suffer and has to pay maximum price in the life if they do not upgrade their living standards. To be born poor or as an average person is not a crime but to die as an average person with middle class talent is miserable and if you are unable to optimize your potentiality and die with unused potentiality then that is your shameful truth. One should not die as a mediocre. He/she has to bring out genius inside him/her and has to use his/her potentiality to the optimum level.

नन्ही किरण

आज आपसे सिर्फ मैं अपनी बात नहीं करना चाहता,पर साथ ही साथ एक छोटी सी बच्ची,जिसका नाम किरण है,उसकी वो बातें भी आपसे share करना चाहता हूँ,जो की उसने मुझसे और शायद आप में से भी किसी से की होगी,पर हो सकता है की किसी ने उसकी बातों को,तवज्जोह नहीं दी हो,ऐसी बातें जो सब जानते हैं,पर फिर भी हम एक बार फिर से सुनेंगे "किरण" के दृष्टिकोण से।

किरण एक मासूम से प्यारी सी बच्ची है,जिसका एक भरा पूरा परिवार है,माता-पिता है,दादा-दादी हैं,और एक बादइ बहिन भी है। किरण इनके पास होने के अनुभव से ही चहक उठती है,और इनसे बातें करने,इन्हें जानने को छट पटाती है,पर वो ऐसा कर पाती इस से पहले ही माँ के गर्भ में उसकी जान ले ली गयी.कन्या-भ्रूण हत्या की एक और शिकार बनी-नन्ही किरण।

यह कहानी सिर्फ किरण की ही नहीं,बल्कि उसके जैसी न जाने कितनी मासूम बच्चियों की होगी,जिनके जीवन में रोशनी होने से पहले ही अँधेरा छा जाता है। और इस अँधेरे के ज़िम्मेदार सिर्फ और सिर्फ हम लोग ही हैं-पढ़े लिखे मगर गँवारों और जाहिलों की सोच रखने वाले।

यूँ तो ६० साल हो गए हैं आज़ादी मिले मगर आज भी हमारी सोच में ६०% तक का भी इजाफा नहीं हुआ है। आज भी कई घरों में बेटियाँ बोझ समझी जाती है। या तो उन्हें जन्म लेने से पहले ही मार दिया जाता है,या फिर पैदा होने के बाद वोह बेचारी ज़िन्दगी भर अपने मूल हकों के लिए लडती रहती है। और ऐसा सिर्फ गाँव या छोटे कस्बों में नहीं अपितु कई महानगरों में भी होता है।

हम एक पल भी नहीं लगते यह सोचने में की जिस नन्ही सी जान को हम कष्ट दे रहे हैं,वोह हमारा ही अंश है,इश्वर का अनमोल तोहफा है हमारे लिए जिसकी हम एकतरफ तो तौहीन करते हैं और दूसरी तरफ धार्मिक होने का नाटक भी नहीं छोड़ते और उसी नारी को मंदिर में बैठा , उसी को पूजते भी हैं। मगर शायद यह भूल जाते हैं की इतना जघन्य अपराध करने वालों की फ़रियाद तो इश्वर भी खारिज कर देता है।

ऐसे मामलों में माँ-बाप के अलावा वो डॉक्टर भी दोषी होते हैं,जो प्रसव-पूर्व बच्चे का लिंग पता करवाने में उनकी मदद करते हैं। चाहे कानून कितने भी सख्त क्यूँ ना बना लिए जाएँ पर यह भी सच है की उन्हें तोड़ने वाले हर जगह मिल ही जाते हैं। यह वो लोग हैं जिन्हें इश्वर का खौफ ही नहीं रोक पाया,तो कानून (जो मानव द्वारा निर्मित है) वोह भला कैसे और आखिर कब तक रोक पायेगा?

ज़रा सोचिये की अगर धरती से लडकियां ही ख़त्म हो गयी तो हमारा वंश आगे कैसे बढेगा,प्रजनन प्रक्रिया रुक जायेगी और हमारे लड़कों के लिए बहुएं ढूँढने पर भी नहीं मिलेंगी। क्या ऐसी भयानक वास्तविकता का सामना कोई करना चाहेगा? शायद कोई भी नहीं। तो फिर हम ऐसी स्तिथियाँ उत्पन्न ही क्यूँ करना चाहते हैं जो विकराल रूप लेकर हमें ही खा जाएँ।

कितना आसान होता है किसी अजन्मे बच्चे की जान लेना,पर अगर कभी हमारे साथ ऐसा हुआ होता,तो हमें उस दर्द का एहसास होता,अगर हमारे घरवालों ने भी हमें गर्भ में ही मरवा दिया होता,तो हमें उस तकलीफ का एहसास होता जो माँ और बच्चे दोनों को झेलना पढ़ती है,जिसमें एक माँ बेचारी तो औसतन हमेशा ही सामाजिक और पारिवारिक दबाव के चलते ही इतनी घिनौनी साज़िश का हिस्सा बन जाती है।

ऊपर लिखी एक भी बात नयी या अनजानी नहीं है। कई लोग,कई समाजसेवी संगठन ऐसी बातें रोजाना कहते हैं मगर जब तक हम मन से इन बातों को सोच-समझ कर अपनी मानसिकता नहीं बदलेंगे तब तक ऐसी बातें लगातार होती रहेंगी और हम इनसे छुटकारा नहीं पा सकेंगे। अगर ऐसी नश्तर सी चुभती हकीकत का सामना नहीं करना है तो मत पैदा होने से रोकिये अपने आस-पास स्थित किसी भी जगह पर, किसी भी "किरण" को और इस मुहीम को एक जन-आन्दोलन का रूप दीजिये क्यूंकि ऐसी ही कोई "किरण" कल की "किरण बेदी" बनकर ना केवल अपने परिवार,अपने कुल का बलिक पूरे देश का नाम रोशन कर सकती है।

वाकई में "बेटियों का जवाब नहीं।"

मौत !

मौत!
एक हकीकत,एक फ़साना,या एक अर्धसत्य!
नहीं!!एक संपूर्ण सत्य,
जिसे हर दिल ने फ़साना माना,
मगर मौत तो आती है,
हमें किसी अँधेरे कमरे में बंद कर,दरवाज़ा लगा,
फिर अपने मुकाम पर चली जाती है॥

अपरिवर्तित,अनश्वर, हृदयहीन, वो हर पल चौकस रहती है,
जब भी आती है,
तो हजारों आँखों को रुला जाती है,
और शायद कभी खुद भी ग़मगीन हो जाती है॥

परन्तु फिर भी निरंतर,निर्विकार, से बढती जाती है,
आती है,हमें किसी अँधेरे कमरे में बंद कर,दरवाज़ा लगा,
फिर अपने मुकाम पर चली जाती है॥

तन्हाई...

मैं कल भी तन्हा था,
मैं आज भी तन्हा हूँ,
बारिश की उन बूंदों की तरह,
जो तन्हा हैं बादलों का साथ होते हुए भी,
आवारा उन भँवरों की तरह,
जो तन्हा हैं फूलों के पास होते हुए भी,

मैं कल भी तन्हा था,
मैं आज भी तन्हा हूँ,
पतझड़ में गिरते उन पत्तों की तरह,
जो पेड़ों की शाख अपर हैं,
शब्दों के उस भंडार की तरह,
जो बसे हर बात में हैं,


सोचता हूँ जब इस बारे में,
की इश्वर ने मेरे ही नसीब में तन्हाई क्यूँ लिखी,
देखता हूँ तब आस-पास मेरे तन्हा हज़ारों हैं,

की हर कोई किसी ना किसी तन्हाई में जीता है,
तब मैं और मेरी तन्हाई आपस में बातें करते हैं,
की मैं कल भी तन्हा था,

उस दिन से ना जाने क्यूँ मेरी दुनिया ही बदल गयी,
जिस दिन मैंने तुम्हे अपनी ज़िन्दगी में पहली बार देखा था,
तुम आँखों में तारों सा नूर और
चेहरे पर फूलों सी मासूमियत लिए मेरे सामने से गुज़र गईं,
और मैं किसी दीवाने की तरह,
तुम्हे देखता रहा,बस देखता रहा,
उस पहली ही मुलाकात ने जाने कैसा असर कर दिया था,
की मुझे तुमसे प्यार हो गया था और,
दिल में तुम्हे पाने की हसरत मैंने बसा ली थी,
दिन गुज़रते गए,रातें कटती रहीं,
और मैं तुम्हे दिन-रात सोचता रहा,
मैं मांगता रहा हूँ खुदा से ये ही दुआ,
की तुम खुश रहो,तुम आबाद रहो,
चाहे ज़िन्दगी में कहीं भी रहो,
या फिर मेरे ही साथ रहो,
वो अदाएं तुम्हारी आज भी मुझे दीवाना बना देती हैं,
वो बातें तुम्हारी आज भी मुझे याद हैं,
जो तुम करती थी,जब हम साथ होते थे,

लम्हा-लम्हा

लम्हा-लम्हा जो मैंने तुम्हारे बिन बिताया,
लम्हा-लम्हा वो लगा जैसे हो एक कला साया,
हर लम्हे में तुम्हारी याद बेहिसाब आई,
ना चाहते हुए भी कई बार आँख भर आई,
फलक पर चाँद भी तो तन्हा है मेरी तरह,
पर उसे देखकर लगता है की सितारे तो हैं,
ठीक वैसे ही मैं भी यहाँ पर तन्हा हूँ कितना,
पर मुझे देखकर लगता है की नज़ारे तो हैं,
आ जाओ फिर से तुम बन के मेरी ज़िन्दगी में बहार,
और बी हर दो हर लम्हे में बस प्यार ही प्यार।

तुम्हारे आने के बाद...

यह रास्ते ज़िन्दगी के,
जो फासले बन गए थे,
तुम्हारे आने के बाद,जैसे मंजिलों से मिल रहे थे,
वो रुखी-सूखी सी,बेरंग जो ज़िन्दगी थी,
तुम्हारे आने के बाद,जैसे फूल उस में भी खिल गए थे,
पतझड़ के मौसम में,तुम सावन बन गए थे,
ज़िन्दगी की कहानी की तुम कविता बन गए थे,
मेरे दिल की बगिया में कली बन के खिल गए थे,
मेरे जिस्म की साँसों में खुशबू बन के बिखर गए थे,
वो नज़रें तुम्हारी,जैसे गहराई हो किसी झील की,
वो बातें तुम्हारी जैसे डली हो मिश्री की,
तुम्हारे गेसुओं की वो घनी छाँव जैसे,
आसमाँ में बादलों के समूह उमड़ गए थे,
मेरी कविताओं की प्रेरणा बन गयी हो तुम,
भावनाएं मेरी,मगर शब्द बन गयी हो तुम,
पहले तो नहीं,मगर अब दोस्त मेरे भी,
मुझसे कहने लगे थे,
की तुम्हारी मोहब्बत में शायद,दीवाने हम हो गए थे,
यह सच है या नहीं,यह तो नहीं मालूम,
मगर इतना तो पता है हमें की,
आलम कुछ ऐसा हो गया है ज़िन्दगी का जैसे,
नदी तुम और धरा हम बन गए थे,
समंदर तुम और लहर हम बन गए थे,
लहर हम बन गए थे॥

तुमसे मिलने से पहले....

तुमसे मिलने से पहले,
जीवन में कोई रंग न था,
मन में कोई उमंग न थी,
और आँखों में कोई सपना न था,

पर तुमसे मिलने का बाद,
जीवन सतरंगी हो गया,
मन में उमंगो की लहर मचल उठी,
और आँखों को सपने हकीकत बनते नज़र आने लगे,

तुमसे मिलने से पहले,
जीवन में कोई दोस्त न था,
कहने को कोई अपना न था,
और आँखों में कोई सपना न था,

पर तुमसे मिलने के बाद,
दोस्ती की नयी इबारत लिखी गयी,
अपनेपन की नयी शुरुआत हुई,
और आँखों को सपने हकीकत बनते नज़र आने लगे,

आज जब तुम मिल गयी हो,
तो सोचता हूँ की न जाने कैसा जादू,
कैसी कशिश है तुम्हारे अन्दर,
की तुमसे मिलते ही,सारे मायने ही बदल गए,
यह खुदा की कैसी कुदरत है?

पर शायद ऐसा भी लगता है,
की वो बीते पल एक छोटी सी,
पगडंडी थे,जो ले जाते थे ख़्वाबों की उस राह पर,
जिसके अंत में "मंजिल" थी मेरी,
और जिसपर चलने के लिए साथ था तुम्हारा।
