तकदीरें बदल जाती है, जब ज़िन्दगी का कोई मकसद हो;
वरना ज़िन्दगी तो कट ही जाती है, तकदीर को इल्जाम देते देते!

पास आपके दुनिया का हर सितारा हो;
दूर आपसे गम का हर किनारा हो;
जब भी आपकी पलकें खुलें;
सामने वही हो जो आपको दुनिया में सबसे प्यारा हो!

कुछ अमल भी ज़रूरी है, इबादत के लिए;
सिर्फ सजदा करने से, किसी को जन्नत नहीं मिलती!

मुलाकातें रह जाती है सुहानी यादें बनकर;
बातें रह जाती है कहानी बनकर;
पर प्यार तो हमेशा दिल के करीब रहता है;
कभी होंठों पे मुस्कान तो कभी आँखों में पानी बनकर!

खफा न होना हमसे, अगर तेरा नाम जुबां पर आ जाये;
इंकार हुआ तो सह लेंगे और अगर दुनिया हंसी, तो कह देंगे;
कि मोहब्बत कोई चीज़ नहीं, जो खैरात में मिल जाये;

अगर कोई पूछे जिंदगी में क्या खोया क्या पाया?
तो बिना झिझक कह देना जो कुछ खोया वो मेरी नादानी है;
और जो पाया वो मेरे रब की मेहरबानी है!

तकदीर बनाने वाले, तूने भी हद कर दी;
तकदीर में किसी और का नाम लिखा था;
