तकदीरें बदल जाती है, जब ज़िन्दगी का कोई मकसद हो;
वरना ज़िन्दगी तो कट ही जाती है, तकदीर को इल्जाम देते देते!

पास आपके दुनिया का हर सितारा हो;
दूर आपसे गम का हर किनारा हो;
जब भी आपकी पलकें खुलें;
सामने वही हो जो आपको दुनिया में सबसे प्यारा हो!

कुछ अमल भी ज़रूरी है, इबादत के लिए;
सिर्फ सजदा करने से, किसी को जन्नत नहीं मिलती!

तेरी बेवफाई ने मेरा ये हाल कर दिया है;
मैं नहीं रोती, लोग मुझे देख कर रोते हैं!

अगर कोई पूछे जिंदगी में क्या खोया क्या पाया?
तो बिना झिझक कह देना जो कुछ खोया वो मेरी नादानी है;
और जो पाया वो मेरे रब की मेहरबानी है!

तकदीर बनाने वाले, तूने भी हद कर दी;
तकदीर में किसी और का नाम लिखा था;
और दिल में चाहत किसी और की भर दी!

खो जाओ मुझ में तो मालूम हो कि दर्द क्या है?
ये वो किस्सा है जो जुबान से बयाँ नही होता!

हमसे बदल गये वो निगाहें तो क्या हुआ
जिंदा हैं कितने लोग मोहब्बत किये बगैर!

मरता नहीं कोई किसी के बगैर ये हकीकत है ज़िन्दगी की
