You've decided it's time for a fresh start in a new location. But how do you go about a job in a new locale when your current location is far from your destination?
Making a geographic move to enhance your career should not be a hassle if you plan before you move. The following would help you with a NEW job in a NEW city .Here are a few things that these people should get help from in a new city:

1. When Hiring Taxis and Cabs

Why don’t you use prepaid taxi with meter reading for taking a long route, also avoid taking lift unless you are sure that the other person is genuine.

2. Moving out of Comfort Zone

Open your mind to new activities and events. Try getting involved in some new community organizations .That will help a lot because you'll meet people who have similar values and a similar passion for doing good in the world. Once you have been put in touch with locals, make it a priority to meet them for lunch or happy hour in a timely manner. People are usually happy to meet and share their ideas about the city but if you wait too long you many lose momentum.

3. Adaptation for Perfection

Try to adapt yourself to the new environment. Everything may not work out according to you. So the best thing to do is look at the positive aspects of new city and work on becoming content with it. However, if you really do not like a certain place, instead of feeling it is a shame to return to where you came from because it was a good experience for you to try to immerse yourself in a different culture for a while. Take your time. Think carefully if you like the new surroundings. You might actually end up liking it more than your previous place of residence.

4. When in stress

Give yourself something to look forward to. Make sure you plan large (even if it’s only large in your mind) events to look forward to. Moving is a challenge no matter what! Recognize that it will take time to adjust. The most important thing is to keep a good outlook and embrace your move as a wonderful opportunity for growth, learning and adventure.

5. Old Friends and New Friends

Stay in touch with your old life and old friends as a practice. However, you cannot rely on them in the same ways you did before because they are not here, and they may have trouble understanding your state of mind because they aren’t dealing with the same changes as you are.

6. Trust

Take your time before trusting strangers and don’t get carried away by anyone’s lucrative offers for stay etc.

7. Security and Personal Care

Take proper care of your safety. Especially females should try not to venture out late in night.

8. Try out local cuisines

One should experiment with the local cuisines and try out new dishes .On the contrary; you may also be allergic to it. Hence, take proper precautions also, because Health is Wealth

9. Learning the local Language

Learn the language, preferably before reaching the new city. However, even if not, it should not be too difficult to learn it once you get there. At first, you may want to take some classes. However, the best way to learn is by speaking and practicing and what better way to practice than to actually live in an abode that speaks that language. Of course, you may actually be moving just from one city in your country to another, in which case you would already be quite familiar with that language and would be less of a barrier for you.

10. Choose your neighborhood carefully

Choose a convenient neighborhood to settle in. This neighborhood might have a friend, or a friend of a friend, or a relative. These old-timers in that neighborhood will be able to get you started off the right track much more easily than if you were to do it yourself from scratch. Hopefully, this neighborhood will also have convenient shopping facilities and other amenities such that you could even just walk to get your grocery shopping or other errands done when you first are not too familiar with the entire area.

Summary: - This is not the end of the list which will always help you in all directions completely. These are only a few chosen points which will be of prime importance to adjust in new environment. However based on the experiences of yourself and some near and dear ones in your surroundings you can definitely find some more small areas to focus on and make your adaptability in changing environment to the best possible.
